Indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) offers a potent method for quantifying collateral artery growth in mice, outperforming laser Doppler perfusion imaging (LDPI). ICGA accurately reflects hind limb blood flow changes, unlike LDPI which appears limited to superficial skin perfusion.
