Nonvesicular phospholipid transfer between peroxisomes and the endoplasmic reticulum

Phospholipids are rapidly transferred from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to peroxisomes via a direct, nonvesicular pathway. This finding indicates that vesicular transport is not essential for providing lipids for peroxisome growth.
