Mycophenolate mofetil as second line therapy in autoimmune hepatitis?

Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) shows promise as a second-line treatment for autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) in patients intolerant to azathioprine. However, MMF is less effective for patients who did not respond adequately to azathioprine.
