Summary

Neurosyphilis can mimic paraneoplastic limbic encephalitis with mesial temporal MRI abnormalities. Early diagnosis and treatment of neurosyphilis are crucial for a good prognosis.

Findings:

  • The patient was diagnosed with neurosyphilis, confirmed by serological and cerebrospinal fluid tests.
