eNOS haplotypes associated with gestational hypertension or preeclampsia

Endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) gene haplotypes, not individual genotypes, appear to influence hypertensive disorders in pregnancy. Specific eNOS haplotypes were found to be more prevalent in healthy versus hypertensive pregnancies.
