Summary
Proto-oncogene expression in avian myeloblastosis virus (AMV)-transformed cells was investigated. Findings show ETS, FPS, MYC, and REL proto-oncogenes are expressed in normal hematopoietic tissues and AMV-transformed cells, unaffected by v-myb. MYB gene expression is repressed in leukemic cells.
