[Selective visual attention and continuous attention in dyslexic children. An experimental study]

Selective and sustained visual attention were tested in 29 boys with developmental dyslexia and 28 normal spellers (also boys) matched for age, grade in school, I.Q. and other developmental parameters. The developmental dyslexia group had deficits in selective attention. A significant effect of task difficulty was found. There was no dysfunction in sustained attention.
