Separation of rhenium, tungsten and molybdenum by thin-layer chromatography
1Laboratory for Analytical Chemistry Faculty of Engineering University of Chiba Yayoi-cho, Chiba, Japan.
Abstract:
Re(VII), W(VI) and Mo(VI) can be separated by thin-layer chromatography on silica gel. The best results are obtained with methanol-3M HC1 (7:3) and methanol-1M NH(4)NO(3)-3 M NH(3) (14:5:1). Dithiol is used as detection reagent.
