Losses of iridium during heating in various atmospheres
1Department of Chemistry University of Manitoba Winnipeg 19, Manitoba, Canada.
Abstract:
The volatility of iridium metal in different atmospheres was studied, using various weights, times and temperatures. Significant volatility was observed in oxygen and oxygen plus acid at temperatures above 400 degrees and in chlorine above 220 degrees .
