Abstract:
The products of reaction of K(3)Cr(NCS)(6) with Tl(I) and Ag(I) have been identified by a combination of techniques. Known species were confirmed and some new ones were identified in the precipitation transition phase and isolated from it. The effect of excess of sodium and potassium ions is discussed. The stoichiometry of the new compound was confirmed by atomic-absorption spectrophotometry.
