Abstract:
Volatile substances derived from moulding compounds, resins and fillers used in the formulation of phenol-formaldehyde materials have been identified, isolated and determined. The amounts of the volatiles are related to the type of resins, fillers, curing agents and degree of cure used in the formulation.
