- The patient experienced no oral mucositis throughout five chemotherapy cycles.
- No pain symptoms related to mucositis were reported by the patient.
- LED phototherapy demonstrated safety and efficacy in this case.
Implications:
- LED phototherapy may be a viable strategy for preventing chemotherapy-induced oral mucositis.
- Further randomized controlled trials are warranted to validate these findings.
- This approach could potentially improve treatment adherence and patient quality of life.
