Abstract:
Metaanalysis of randomized, double-blind studies applying to neuropathic pain with placbo as a controlled group. The aim of the study was to analyze if placebo effect differs depending on the type of neuropathic pain syndrome. The obtained data shows the existing differences of placebo effect in different neuropathic pain syndromes. The decreased placebo effect is observed in patients with persistent neuropathic pain.
