This study explored genetic prenatal diagnosis for achondroplasia (ACH). Denaturing high-performance liquid chromatography (DHPLC) and restriction enzyme analysis effectively detected FGFR3 gene mutations, with DHPLC showing greater speed and sensitivity for ACH diagnosis.
