Summary

A new clamp method for retrograde urethrography (RUG) significantly improves visualization of the posterior urethra and reduces patient pain. This optimized technique enhances diagnosis of urethral stenosis, even near the meatus.

Background:

  • Retrograde urethrography (RUG) is the standard for diagnosing urethral stenosis and disease.
