Abstract:
Oncology treatments are changing the sexual function of 75% patients. A clear communication with the medical staff and the wife's patient and a multidisciplinary approach with the general practitioner, the surgeon, as well as with a sexologist and a physiotherapist and occasionally a psychologist or a psychiatrist, are highly suggested to eliminate misunderstanding or the early use of erectogenic medication, are some measures that can be taken to reduce the side effects of oncological treatment on sexual life.
