Yeast-expressed VP2 protein from Infectious Bursal Disease Virus (IBDV) offers partial protection against IBDV challenge in chickens, preventing clinical signs and mortality. This study demonstrates VP2 subunit vaccination efficacy and the utility of paraffin-embedded tissues for genetic material.
