Gliadin-specific IgE in wheat-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis

Serum gliadin-specific IgE is a valuable supplementary diagnostic marker for wheat-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis (WDEIA). Elevated IgE binding to a 50 kDa gliadin component, suppressed by simulated gastric fluid, characterizes WDEIA patients.
