[Technique and complications of microvascular reanastomosis]

We describe 193 free tissue transfers for routine indications and for the solution of difficult problems. Some complex venous anastomoses are illustrated. The complete loss of a transplant is the most important complication of free tissue transfer. In most cases it is due to a thrombosis of the venous microanastomosis.
