Summary

Minimally invasive colorectal resection (MICR) causes early decreases in soluble vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (sVEGFR2) and increases in soluble vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1 (sVEGFR1). This leads to more free plasma vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) post-surgery.
