Staff participation in a strength, weakness, opportunity, and threats analysis

The use of a strength, weakness, opportunity, and threats (SWOT) analysis to evaluate current and future directions can lead to the successful evolution of any organization. A SWOT analysis was performed by the multidisciplinary staff of a hospital-based home health agency. Outcomes of the SWOT analysis resulted in the establishment of department goals and objectives, as well as staff empowerment and increased cohesiveness.
