Summary

Simultaneous allergen immunotherapy using multiple allergen extracts is effective for treating allergies. Further research is needed, especially for sublingual immunotherapy with more than two allergens.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To review existing literature on the efficacy of simultaneous administration of multiple allergen extracts in AIT.
  • To assess the effectiveness of using two or more distinct allergen extracts in SCIT and SLIT.

  • A systematic review of English and non-English literature was conducted.
