Abstract:
This year's meeting of the Inflammation Research Association could be summarized in two short phrases: cozy surroundings, expansive program. Inflammatory bowel disease, tolerance induction for autoimmunity, inflammation-related pain, biologics, the role of the IL-17/IL-23 axis in autoimmunity and new therapeutic candidates were discussed in oral sessions, while poster sessions provided the most recent data from research into inflammatory mechanisms and treatments. Highlights of these sessions are provided in this report.
