Summary

This case study explores the use of lipofilling as a standalone method for breast reconstruction. The patient underwent fat transfer from other body areas to reconstruct the breast. After one year, both the patient and surgeon were very satisfied with the aesthetic outcome. However, the long-term stability of the reconstruction remains uncertain due to factors like fat resorption. The study suggests that lipofilling may be a viable option for selected patients but requires further research to confirm its effectiveness and long-term results.
