Summary

This study found that intermediate on-pump/off-pump myocardial revascularization using the Deltastream blood pump resulted in less ischemia and hemolysis compared to standard cardiopulmonary bypass. This approach may be a safer alternative for high-risk patients undergoing myocardial revascularization.
