Abstract:
We describe the arterial supply in a patient with cirrhosis of the liver, occlusion of the coeliac axis and with a replaced right hepatic artery from the superior mesenteric artery. Six arterial pathways between the mesenteric and hepatosplenic axis were demonstrated, and hepatofugal blood flow was shown in spite of coexistent portal hypertension.
