Children with Möbius sequence show lower overall and performance IQ scores compared to peers. Standard intelligence tests may not accurately predict academic success in these individuals.

Conclusions:
- The Wechsler Intelligence Test-III (WISC-III) may not be an adequate tool for predicting academic success in individuals with Möbius sequence.
- Intelligence tests with fewer time constraints may be more appropriate for assessing cognitive abilities in this population.
- Further research is needed to understand the full spectrum of intellectual functioning in Möbius sequence.
