Abstract:
Considering the accumulation phenomenon in public places, we investigate how the condensation of moving bosonic particles influences the epidemic spreading in scale-free metapopulation networks. Our mean-field theory shows that condensation can significantly enhance the effect of epidemic spreading and reduce the threshold for epidemic to survive, in contrast to the case of without condensation.
