Effect of clopidogrel added to aspirin in patients with atrial fibrillation
Adding clopidogrel to aspirin therapy for atrial fibrillation patients not suitable for vitamin K antagonists significantly reduced major vascular events, particularly stroke. However, this combination also increased the risk of major hemorrhage.
