Abstract:
Many types of surgery require that surgeons switch back and forth from toothed to nontoothed forceps. This is particularly true in hand surgery and in head and neck surgery when the operation is beneath the skin. I have therefore devised an Adson-type forceps with tooth jaws on one end and nontoothed jaws on the other to save time and effort during such operations.
