Comparison of paper-based and electronic data collection process in clinical trials: costs simulation study

Electronic data collection (EDC) offers significant cost savings over traditional paper-based data collection (PDC) in clinical trials. Our study modeled both processes, revealing EDC can reduce data collection costs by up to 62%.
