Patients with IgA nephropathy exhibit high systemic PDGF-DD levels

Serum platelet-derived growth factor-DD (PDGF-DD) levels are elevated in IgA nephropathy (IgAN) patients, particularly those with early disease. These findings support PDGF-DD as a therapeutic target for mesangioproliferative glomerulonephritis.
