[The difficulties in dealing with sterility]

In this article we describe the specific psychological situation of the sterile couple. Especially the interaction within the couple on one hand and that between the couple and the therapist on the other are reflected as an expression of transference phenomena. These phenomena are explained and "ways out of the dilemma" are shown.
