Summary

Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) are key diagnostic markers for small vessel vasculitides. Research suggests ANCA, particularly myeloperoxidase-ANCA, may play a direct role in disease pathogenesis.

  • Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) are IgG autoantibodies targeting neutrophil and monocyte granules.
