  • A patient presented with epididymitis, initially without clinical or pathological suspicion of WG.
  • The patient later developed pulmonary involvement, leading to a diagnosis of WG via lung biopsy.

Findings:

  • Retrospective pathological review of the orchiectomy specimen confirmed WG involvement of the epididymis.
  • Testicular tissue was not affected in this case.

Implications:

  • This case underscores the need for vigilance in diagnosing WG, even in its rare presentations like isolated epididymitis.
  • Early recognition and treatment of WG, irrespective of initial presentation, are crucial for preventing systemic progression and severe organ damage.
