Student and faculty knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to AIDS: implications for health educators

Results of a random survey of university faculty and students regarding their knowledge, behavior, and attitudes concerning AIDS are reported. The majority of faculty and students held enlightened views of AIDS. Faculty, however, tended to be better informed than students in a number of areas. These findings are consistent with results of surveys of students at two other universities. Implications for health educators are discussed.
