Summary

Living-donor liver transplantation (LDLT) has become a vital alternative to cadaveric-donor liver transplantation (CDLT) due to graft scarcity. Advances in LDLT techniques have significantly reduced donor mortality and recipient in-hospital mortality.

  • To highlight the technical advancements and strategies employed to overcome challenges in LDLT.
