Hispanics in Chicago: chemical dependency and the law

Due to discrimination, poverty, lack of education and language barriers the recent Hispanic immigrants to the Chicago area have a higher incidence of substance abuse and legal problems than the majority population. In this article a novel treatment approach that deals with these difficulties in a bilingual and socioculturally sensitive milieu is discussed.
