[Instruments for nucleic acid pulse electrophoresis]

Principles of construction of devices for electrophoretical separation of mixes biopolymer molecules which length is from 5.10(4) to 10(7) base pairs have been briefly considered. Description has been made of main types of such devices, their parameters, merits and demerits. Data obtained by this method and possible perspectives of its development have been discussed.
