Abstract:
In this study the clinical performance and applicability of the liquid supported denture were investigated. Functional properties such as retention and stability were studied, as well as the reaction of the supporting tissues to the denture. It was concluded that the liquid supported denture is well accepted as alternative denture and provides a solution in a variety of prosthodontic problems, especially in cases where the mandible is in an advanced resorbed state.
