  • Immunohistochemical analysis supported an apocrine gland origin for the auricle PA.
  • The tumor exhibited typical PA histology, including epithelial tubules and myxoid/chondroid stroma.
  • Complete surgical excision with direct closure resulted in no recurrence over an 18-month follow-up period.

  • This case contributes to the limited understanding of PA in the auricle, highlighting its potential apocrine origin.
  • Complete tumor resection is crucial for preventing recurrence of cutaneous pleomorphic adenomas.
