A tough, fibrous membrane, the tunica albuginea, covers the testes, extending inward to form fibrous partitions or septa, dividing them into internal compartments called lobules. Summary

Testicular adenofibromas are rare tumors. This case report details a serous adenofibroma, highlighting its similarity to ovarian counterparts and importance in differential diagnosis of testicular lesions.

Background:

  • Adenofibromas are well-documented in Mullerian derivatives but exceptionally rare in testicular parenchyma.
  • Testicular tumors mimicking ovarian surface epithelium are infrequently encountered.

Observation:

  • A 57-year-old male patient presented with an incidentally discovered lesion during hydrocele investigation.
  • Histological and immunohistochemical analyses were performed on the testicular lesion.

Findings:

  • The lesion was confirmed as a serous adenofibroma.
  • Immunohistochemical properties were found to be analogous to ovarian serous adenofibromas.

Implications:

  • This rare testicular adenofibroma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of unusual testicular cystic lesions.
