Summary

Progressive cerebral cavernous malformations (CCMs) may be linked to elevated vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and transforming growth factor-beta1 (TGF-beta1). High VEGF levels might indicate future intracerebral hemorrhage risk in CCM patients.
