Abstract:
The current situation of urodynamics and the ways of improving and reinforcing our investigational and treatment modalities are presented. Correct evaluation of the bladder dysfunction depends on sound evaluation of a patient's history, naked-eye observation and careful urodynamic investigation. The clinical and social significance of the following items is specifically discussed: urinary incontinence of elderly people, clean intermittent catheterization and artificial urethral sphincter.
