Abstract:
Four patients, aged 19 to 34, suffering from retinal hemangiomas, are described. Argon laser coagulation treatment consisted in destruction of the tumor proper, as a rule, without preliminary formation of a limiting barrier, stage-by-stage, in 2-4 sessions. The following coagulation regimens were used: light spot size 250-500 microns, exposure length 0.2-0.5 s, irradiation power 350-600 mWt.
