Predicting difficult airways using the intubation difficulty scale: a study comparing obese and non-obese patients

Obese patients experienced more difficult endotracheal intubations, but intubation time and oxygen levels were similar. The modified Mallampati test moderately predicted difficult intubations in obese individuals.
