Soil-transmitted helminths (STHs) pose a global health risk, especially in developing countries. Toxocara eggs were the most prevalent STH found in soil samples from urban and rural Egypt.

- Targeted public health interventions are needed to mitigate STH transmission risks associated with environmental contamination.
