[Sling technique with suprapubic punction: report of a complex case with recurrent urinary incontinence]

A difficult case described herein was successfully treated using a sling procedure that is safe and easy to perform. It combines the simplicity of the endoscopic techniques and the advantages afforded by the materials used. This simple yet effective technique is particularly useful in patients at high surgical risk, with afunctional urethra in whom operative maneuvers are performed with difficulty, with previous unsuccessful surgery, including the Stamey procedure, with urethra and bladder in the normal positions and a neurogenic component.
