Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate Carstens' surgical methods for one-stage repair of unilateral complete cleft lip, nose deformity, and alveolar cleft.
To assess the efficacy of using recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 (rhBMP-2) in alveolar cleft correction.
