A new, rapid neutralization assay using pseudotyped vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) can detect Nipah virus (NiV) and Hendra virus (HeV) antibodies. This BSL-2 assay correlates well with the standard PRNT, offering a cost-effective diagnostic tool.
